Happy New Year!

New Year, Better you! At Style PB we believe in being your personal best. Just because it’s the New Year you don’t need a new you, you just need a better version of you and that’s something worth aiming for. Make your resolutions achievable and work out a plan to success. There are no failures, just lessons to be learnt.


We aim to bring you the best brands with the best service at Style PB and we are delighted to tell you that we have now added MONA to our list of designers. MONA is a luxury brand designed and made in the UK. The designer is Carla, who inspired by her love of travel and her fascination with water creates unique printed leggings. Drawing on the intricate beauty of marine life, the leggings feature abstract prints of shining fish scales, cool damp sands and iridescent flashes. The leggings are perfect for classes such as yoga and Pilates and would look just as good on the street with a casual white tee and a leather jacket thrown over the top.


In this issue we talk to nutritionist Rosie about being healthy and finding balance in our diets. Rosie is also the founder of Dynabites, delicious energy bars that you just have to try! Perfect for a treat after a gym workout or great for keeping in your bag as a healthy snack during the day. Read the interview to find out more.

Interview with Rosie Millen

What would we find in your fridge?

My diet is very Paleo based. So you'll find lots of chicken and eggs. Leafy green spinach is always a heavy feature in the fridge too! .

Where is your favourite place to eat out?

I love Tanyas café as you can rely on everything being super healthy and nutritious. But more conventionally I love Berners Tavern for a super glam dinner.

What does being healthy mean to you?

Being healthy is about feeling well and energized all the time without any complaints or niggling symptoms that are constantly there. This is your bodies way of alerting you that something is not right. If we eat well we will feel well and therefore in a position to achieve anything we want in life without ill health getting in the way.


Do you have a health and fitness mantra ?

Yes! I have loads:

You get out what you put in

Food dictates what we think, feel and behave

Every meal is an opportunity to feed or fail our bodies

What's your motivation?

Tough question! Making people happy in everything that I do.


Where did you train as a nutritionist?

I trained at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition. Graduating with a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy as a fully qualified nutritionist therapist.


What's to come in 2015?

The launch of The Dynabites! These are my first line of food products. They are high protein energy bars that are gluten free and dairy free. Very excited to be getting them into some big stores and gyms in the New Year. Also Im running a 21 day detox in January and Feb which is yielding amazing results on all my clients. Most people are losing 10 pounds over the 21 day period, increased energy by day three and absolutely no cravings.

What workout do you like to do or where do you train?

Ever since I heard the phrase ‘You have to train like a man to look like a woman‘ I’ve been addicted to the gym! I like lifting heavy weights ;-) Try to do this at least three times a week.


Best piece of advice you can give someone as a nutritionist?

Follow the 80/20 rule. Life is not about perfection. Always listen to your body and take time to rest. Don’t say yes to everything and burn out. Prevention for this is key.
